Election Process
The Student Senate for California Community Colleges will hold an election for the 2026 - 2027 Board of Directors Executive Officer positions during the 2026 Spring Delegate Assembly on March 29th.
Per the SSCCC Bylaws, the Executive Officer positions are:
- President
- Vice President
- Vice President of Regional Affairs
- Vice President of Legislative Affairs
- Vice President of Finance
- Vice President of Communications
Timeline
Election Packet Released: February 2, 2026
Candidate Interest webinar: February 27, 2026 - 4:00 pm
Eligibility verification forms are due: March 9, 2026 to verify@ssccc.org
Candidate Mandatory Meeting: March 10, 2026 - 3:00 pm
Campaigning can begin: March 11, 2026 – after receipt of verification.
Candidate Statements are due: March 16, 2026 to elections@ssccc.org

Candidate Forum (Webinar): March 23, 2026, 2:00 pm
Elections: March 29, 2026, during the General Assembly
