The SSCCC is currently looking for a Region VIII & Region X that is self-driven and independently motivated California Community College students with a background in student leadership, the capacity to work up to 25 hours per week, and the ability to travel to campuses within the CCC regions. The Student Intern position is a part-time, at-will position reporting to the Engagement and Development Coordinator. Students will participate in campus events to engage students, support the regional leadership, strengthen their communication and networking skills, and promote legislation and initiatives to improve student success. The Board Liaison & Executive Support Manager provides high-level governance, administrative, and strategic support to the Executive Director and SSCCC Board of Directors. This position serves as the primary point of coordination between the Executive Director, Board leadership, and staff, ensuring effective board operations, compliance with governance requirements, and timely execution of board priorities.
Unlike a traditional executive assistant role, this position centers on board governance, coordination, tracking, and follow-through, while also supporting executive priorities, institutional communications, and key organizational projects.
