Precautions for Viagra

  • Viagra should never be taken more than once every 24 hours. In the event of an overdose, seek professional medical attention immediately.

  • Viagra should never be self prescribed.

  • Do not use Viagra if you are taking nitroglycerin or any other nitrate drug. Combining Nitrate medicine with Viagra can lower your heart rate to dangerous levels and possibly produce a stroke, a heart attack or other serious bodily injuries.

  • Do not mix Viagra with illegal recreational drugs, such as popper, ecstasy, methamphetamines, etc. This can cause serious injuries or even death.

  • Men taking protease inhibitors may need a special dosing of Viagra.

  • Taking Viagra in combination with Alpha Blockers may lower your blood pressure to dangerous levels.

  • Sexual activity may possibly raise the heart rate of some people to dangerous levels. Not all people are healthy enough for sex. Be sure to consult your doctor before recommencing sexual activity.

  • Viagra may produce certain side effects in some men. Common side effects include: Headaches, flushing, dyspepsia, nasal congestion, and dizziness. Rare side effects include abnormal vision (increased sensitivity to light, blurred vision or seeing a blue tinge), prolonged or painful erections, etc. It is important to tell your doctor about the side effects that you may have encountered. If the side effects are severe, consult your doctor immediately.

  • Do not take Viagra in combination with other PDE-5 inhibitors such as Levitra or Cialis.
